Industry Experience

From painting in the backyard as a kid to picking up my first film camera in my teens, I always knew I wanted to be creative in my life. Studying Fine Arts gave me an outlet for creative exploration and to hone my photography skills. The darkroom became a place of experimentation and creation. My technical mind set drew me to explore Graphic Design, cutting my teeth as a Graphic Designer at the Sydney City Hub Newspaper in the 90's. Wild times. Wanting to skill up further, I completed a Graphic Pre-Press Trade Apprenticeship where I learned the fundamentals of print, good design and how to execute a multitude of commercial jobs from film to press. My industry experience isn't siloed in one area. From the analog days of working with film on the light bench and print presses, to digital film houses running Hell scanners and Cromalin proofs. From Digital print shops, publishing houses and the full Full Ad agency services. I've been around the traps.
I don't claim to be a ninja, a unicorn or a gun, I'm a dedicated craftsman who respects the integrity of a well-shot image, the photographer’s vision, and the art director’s strategic goals. Every asset processed through the studio receives uncompromising care, featuring natural skin tones, precise edge isolation, and seamless highlight-to-shadow transitions.
